**Oasys 23 Update** This section lists all the changes made to **Workflows** since the Oasys 22.1 release. # **Automotive Assessments** ## **Enhancements** - M23-1989 - Added support for Humanetics HIII 5F v2.4 (Harmonized) occupant model. - M23-329 - Changed the parameter from "Max" to "Abs(Min)" for upper and lower neck extension outputs to reflect the fact that for these outputs, the lowest negative value is what is used for scoring. - M23-1858 - Dummy varient hover text added to EuroNCAP 2026 versions for clarity. - M23-1996 - Added Sled outputs for EuroNCAP Front Sled 2026 - M23-2280 - Added lower tibia FOY for all HIII dummies - M23-2367 - Far side head excurison channels are now derived for CSV data that contains the required head and b-pillar channels. - M23-2386 - Add time interval input for test data via import configuration so the test data can be clipped in time to produce the Euro NCAP 2026 KPI reports. - M23-2460 - Improved calculation of rib compression for WorldSID dummies (it can now handle inconsistencies in the sign of ANZ and DC0 channels) - M23-2460 - WorldSID DS0 channels now always represent compression as positive, regardless of ribs being on the left or right side - M23-349 - Added support for ATD-Models THOR 50M v0106, THOR T350 50M v0106 (THOR main body with HIII Legs), and SID IIs 5F v0008 (LHS and RHS ribs) - M23-2261 - Added support for Humanetics HIII 5F, 50M, 95M v2.5 Harmonized occupant models. ## **Bug fixes** - M23-1897 - Fixed CNCAP 2024 FRB HIII Neck Extension output to only use the lowest negative value for scoring, and reflect in reports of FRB and OOP. - M23-1897 - Removed 'Lateral' from 'Upper Neck Extension' graph titles - M23-1994 - Modified Humanetics HIII 5F v2.02 (Harmonized) occupant JSON to add separate entity definitions for chest and pelvis distance which default to the left clavicle and h-point tags (markers). They are used for comparison with physical models. - M23-1994 - Modified Humanetics HIII 5F v2.02 (Harmonized) occupant JSON to use the adjustable lower neck loadcell instead of the fixed one as before. - M23-1874 - Corrected ISO-MME position codes for 2nd row occupants. Previously 3rd row position codes were used (7->4, 8->5, 9->6) - M23-1921 - Fixed the issue when resaving the user data which we read in was not updating new channels. It should now save the latest updated occupant and structure. - M23-2328 - Corrected scoring for Euro NCAP Far Side 2026 Head HIC15 and Resultant 3ms acceleration to award full points unless capping limit is exceeded. - M23-2421 - Change filter class for WS neck upper and lower axial force from CFC600 to CFC1000 as per section 2.5 of cp005. - M23-2397 - CNCAP 2024 MPDB Validation for Frontal OOP Report Neck Fz and Fx results table fix. - M23-2363 - Fixed issue where WorldSID rib compression was not being computed for test data if DS0 channels were not present, even if ANZ and DC0 channels were present which could be used to compute the rib compression. - M23-2366 - Show KPI as missing if test data is missing. - M23-2421 - Change neck force to use CFC1000 as per section 2.5 of Euro NCAP CP005 1.4.1. - M23-2352 - Modified Humanetics THOR3 50M v1.9.2 occupant JSONs to change "DS"->"DC" for local accelerometers and add "Head: Global Coordinate (X,Y,Z)" entity that uses node 1500035 - M23-2437 - Fixed the Humanetics HIII 5F v2.02 (Harmonized) occupant model in Automotive Assessments which was using nodes with a local coordinate system instead of global coordinate system for head angular velocity. - M23-2476 - Resolve issue where Euro NCAP head excursion calculation would fail if the input acceleration and angular velocity curve had different number of points or ranges. - M23-2405 - Fixed issue where LOWER_NECK_EXTENSION would show no simulation output if test data was loaded that was missing the required neck channels. - M23-2490 - Corrected HIII 95M knee displacement and fibia compression force HPL and LPL datums that were inncorrectly using the HIII 50M values. # **Protocols** ## **Newly supported** - IIHS Rear Sled 2025 16 kph - IIHS Rear Sled 2025 24 kph # **VTC Quality Criteria** ## **Enhancements** - M23-1550 Added support for IIHS Whiplash Prevention Evaluation 2025 - M23-1550 IIHS now reporting results of monitored Hourglass, Internal, Added Mass and Mass items to summary table and REPORTER tables - Attempts to get Mass from OTF/d3hsp - IIHS added mass display units option - If data is not available, changed from 'N/A' to 'Missing' in T/HIS summary table - Split up the total hourglass and total internal energy graphs to be separate, otherwise as hourglass is generally much smaller the graph was just flat in comparison when plotted together - M23-2259 For EuroNCAP 2026 Frontal, max added mass reduced for 2.5% for seperate models. Default remains at 5% for combined models. - M23-2416 For EuroNCAP 2026 monitored items, sled parts can now be defined (old method was full model minus dummy and sled) - M23-2451 For EuroNCAP 2026 Frontal, Dual occupant support is now available - M23-2492 Head Excursion can be calculated if the head and B-Pillar are in opposite directions ## **Bug fixes** - M23-2083 - IIHS 'Remaining Parts' removed from Workflow .JSON data and calculated on the fly in T/HIS by taking dummy and seat away from full model and renamed as Remaining Components as per protocol - Fixed IIHS Mass Duplicate Datum error if 'Reset Graphs' was clicked - IIHS monitored Hourglass, Internal, Added Mass and Mass items now takes into account display time units - M23-2494 - Head excursion is no longer converted to an absolute curve (it is possible for head excursion to be negative e.g. rebounding off an airbag).
