Ansys LS-DYNA is widely used for solving complex real-world engineering problems. The Oasys Suite is at the leading edge of pre and post-processing software, enabling LS-DYNA users to prepare and comprehensively check their models, then visualise, process and report on the results.

These market-leading software tools are now available to students free of charge!

Students can access limited licenses for LS-DYNA and the Oasys Suite for free, helping you become familiar with the tools used by future employers around the globe.

  Please note:
• Software support is not included with the limited license but students can access our tutorial resources and webinars.
• Limited licenses are only limited in model size (to 10,000 elements); there is no limit on the functionality of the software.

Department-wide license

A department-wide annual license can be leased annually for non-commercial use of Oasys software. This allows full access for students and staff for teaching or research purposes. An optional software support contract is also available which provides access to our technical support team for named teaching staff.

We are also happy to engage with universities to offer commercial backing for research applications and projects, and we’d be happy to discuss how Oasys software could be incorporated into engineering courses.
