The Oasys LS-DYNA Environment team is excited to announce the release of the latest version of the comprehensive Ansys LS-DYNA® pre- and post-processing suite.
Earlier this year we launched Oasys 22.0, strengthening the suite’s position with faster performance, comprehensive Ansys LSDYNA support, and efficient end to end workflows for human safe design, and much more. Advancements included support for C-NCAP and usability improvements for Virtual Testing, Injury Metrics, new IGA (Isogeometric Analysis) and CPG (Continuum Particle Gas) features, Connections and Load Path tool enhancements.
Version 22.0 enabled users to achieve even greater automation and process integration, resulting in significant workflow efficiency and excellent model quality and results.

What’s new in Oasys 22.1?
Built on the momentum of Oasys 22.0, Oasys 22.1 focuses on performance, usability and smarter workflows plus enhancements for Virtual Testing to help teams get from setup to insight even faster. This update is designed to help you work more efficiently and make better decisions, faster.
While Oasys 22.1 focuses on performance improvements and bug fixes, it also introduces latest Virtual Testing functionality, including updated protocol support and new diagnostic tools.
What’s new in Virtual Testing:
Achieve Better Correlation Results with brand-new Engineering Diagnostic Tools in SimVT:
- Filter by Score directly in the correlation table to focus on underperforming channels
- Dynamic Corridor Visualisation for clearer performance overview
- Key Event Identification to pinpoint:
- Time of poorest correlation
- Start of divergence
- Overlay Multiple Model Results on a single graph for comparison
- Error Graphs highlight missing results for quick troubleshooting
- Expanded Protocol Support:
- Euro NCAP 2026 Crash Protection – Frontal Impact
- C-NCAP Management Regulation (2024 Edition) – adult occupant protection loadcases
VTC Video snapshots for C-NCAP
Other Key Enhancements:
- Simplified VTC Videos workflow aligned with latest C-NCAP and Euro NCAP protocols
- Improved LS-DYNA to ISO-MME export with more accurate mass calculations
- Import head offset curves from C-NCAP test video data in CSV format
- Automatic derivation of acceleration curves from differentiated velocity curves
- Sessions now “frozen” rather than “terminated” if connection to a license server is lost.
