Introduction to LS-DYNA (online)

A comprehensive practical introduction to the LS-DYNA FE code to simulate general nonlinear problems.

The online format will run as a series of 3-hour sessions split over two weeks. The online course will be run using Microsoft Teams.

Attendees must attend all five sessions to complete the course.

If you are no longer able to attend a training course once a place has been reserved for you, please let us know so we can cancel the reservation.  The majority of our online classes are free and we receive a lot of interest for them so we want to ensure we can accommodate as many requests as possible.

Learn more about LS-DYNA and its capabilities gaining thorough knowledge in the explicit analysis part of the software using the newest Oasys software. This course provides a thorough overview of the explicit capabilities of LS-DYNA. Furthermore,  it gives an insight to the theory behind the software. After the course, the attendees will be able to go through the process of setting up a model (Pre-Processing) to getting results from LS-DYNA (Post-Processing).

Workshop examples are used to demonstrate how to use the software together with a PowerPoint presentation.

Please note that this training course is designed with an emphasis on explicit solution capabilities of LS-DYNA.

This training course is provided free of charge to Arup’s Oasys or LS-DYNA clients on a first come-first-serve basis.
