Introduction to Oasys POST (online)

This course provides a thorough overview of the Oasys post-processing software including D3PLOT, T/HIS and REPORTER.
The online format will run as a series of 3-hour sessions over three consecutive days. The online course will be run using Microsoft Teams.
- Session 1: Tuesday 3rd June 09:30 – 12:30 BST
- Session 2: Wednesday 4th June 09:30 – 12:30 BST
- Session 3: Thursday 5th June 09:30 – 12:30 BST
Attendees must attend all three sessions to complete the course.
If you are no longer able to attend a training course once a place has been reserved for you, please let us know so we can cancel the reservation. The majority of our online classes are free and we receive a lot of interest for them so we want to ensure we can accommodate as many requests as possible.
We reserve the right to decline requests from customers that repeatedly fail to attend reserved courses.
Course Outline:
The Oasys LS-DYNA environment can be used from setting up a FEA model to advanced post-processing of the results. It is essential for an engineer to know how to efficiently use and navigate around post-processing software. This course provides a thorough overview of the Oasys post-processing software including D3PLOT, T/HIS and REPORTER. After the course, the attendees should be able to navigate and feel comfortable using the Oasys post-processing software and be aware of the advanced capabilities of the software.
Workshop examples are used to demonstrate how to work with the software together with a PowerPoint presentation.

- Understanding when D3PLOT, T/HIS and REPORTER would be useful
- Introduction to D3PLOT
- Introduction to T/HIS
- Introduction to REPORTER
- Awareness of more advanced features
For Who?
This course is recommended for those who have not previously used the Oasys post-processing software.

This training course is provided free of charge to Arup’s Oasys or LS-DYNA clients on a first come-first-serve basis.
