An Overview of Oasys Post-Processing Tools

This course provides an overview of the Oasys post-processing software covering an introduction to the fundamental workflow of Oasys D3PLOT and T/HIS.

The online format will run for 3 hours. The online course will be run using Microsoft Teams.

Course Outline:

The Oasys LS-DYNA environment can be used from setting up a FEA model to advanced post-processing of the results. It is essential for an engineer to know how to efficiently use and navigate around post-processing software. This course provides an overview of the Oasys post-processing software covering an introduction to the fundamental workflow of D3PLOT and T/HIS.

D3PLOT – Our In depth 3D visualisation of LS-DYNA results with powerful multi-model post-processing tools.

T/HIS – Plot, manipulate and process XY data from LS-DYNA’s ASCII and binary output databases

Workshop examples are used to demonstrate how to work with the software together with a PowerPoint presentation.

  • Understanding the benefits of using D3PLOT and T/HIS in your workflow

For Who?

This course is recommended for those who have not previously used the Oasys post-processing software.

Course Fees:

This training course is provided free of charge to Arup’s Oasys or LS-DYNA clients on a first come-first-serve basis.
