Navigating Virtual Testing with the Oasys LS-DYNA Suite

This training course provides a practical introduction to Virtual Testing in the Oasys LS-DYNA Environment

The Oasys LS-DYNA Environment provides support for Virtual Testing and for analysing correlation against physical test results, supporting compliance with evolving industry protocols and enabling simulation to play an ever-larger role in optimising designs for human safety.

The virtual testing workflow tools streamline processes for CAE and vehicle safety teams, ensuring compliance with LS-DYNA model quality and data submission protocols. The end-to-end process guides users from model setup, to running the simulation, checking and validating the results, through to data export, and to submission of both simulation and test outcomes to the certifying authority.

With support for Euro NCAP and C-NCAP protocols, and with ongoing development to accommodate future protocols, the software offers the industry a comprehensive and integrated toolset for virtual testing.

The online format will run as one 3-hour live training session. The online course will be run using Microsoft Teams.

Learn more about Virtual Testing from one of our expert users, Donnie Simon, an Application Engineer at Arup with over four years of hands-on experience using LS-DYNA and the Oasys Suite for automotive crash simulation.
