Important LS-DYNA R9.3.0 and R11.0.0 announcement

We have identified that if a model uses *DATABASE_DEFORC (output of discrete element forces) then it is possible that some elements in your model are being deleted at t=0.
The nature of the bug is such that it may not be limited to just *DATABASE_DEFORC either. It seems to only affect solid elements but it is not known for sure whether other elements can also be deleted.
A fix has been implemented into the latest development versions of R9.3.0 and R11.0.0 by LSTC. For production work, we recommend using the most recent R9.3.0 release (SVN 131707 or later). Similarly, if you want to use R11.0.0 (which we have not released yet), make sure you use an executable with SVN 131707 or later.
Our recommended version of R9.3.0 is now available on our LS-DYNA download page.
