Arup, in collaboration with Cellbond, has developed the LS-DYNA shell model of MPDB Barrier.
The model not only shows good force-displacement correlations compared with test results, but also offers a realistic barrier deformation behaviour.
This is achieved through extensive material calibration and component/full barrier validation (facilitated by a comprehensive testing campaign).
