Shift Deformed – Shortcut
TCF file that can set shift deformed for a given three nodes.
Often engineers will used shift deformed to view deformations about a given local system. Those that do this a lot will often always use the same three nodes, with fixed ID’s.
This little TCF file will activate a shift deformed for the hard coded node id’s.
To use it:
- Open in a text editor and modify the lines containing the text ‘1’, ‘2’ and ‘3’ so that the labels of your fixed nodes are used.
- Open d3plot and press ‘?’ on the keyboard to load up the shortcuts menu.
- Assign the tcf file to a shortcut key as a ‘command file’.
Now when you click the shortcut the shift deformed will automatically be defined.
