Mike is a Senior Engineer at Arup with over 6 years’ experience using LS-DYNA and the Oasys software. He has a degree in Aerospace Engineering and has applied LS-DYNA on a broad range of projects, from automotive design to soil-structure interaction analysis, and has significant experience with both the explicit and implicit solvers.
LS-OPT: an introduction
LS-OPT is a standalone design optimization and probabilistic analysis package with an interface to LS-DYNA.
This webinar will provide a brief introduction to LS-OPT and its uses in allowing users to exercise aspects of mathematical optimisation, design optimisation and robust design.
